Not really normal. But I would say ppl tend to pick an avatar that looks like them. Or they use an avatar that makes em look better.

haha.......... i wish we all did look as good looking as our avatars we would be a pretty good looking bunch wouldnt we? haha mine is similar as i could get, im way better looking in real life.
