big mistake just tell him at the time you were confused of what you were doing but tell him you love him as a friend and his friendship means too much to you to lose him, tell him you like this guy and you want things to work out but that in no way shape or form did you mean to hurt him and pray that damage is reverseable cuz if not you made of just lost a friend that clearly meant more to you than you thought so calmly talk to him asap

What do you mean you're "not sure what to do" ??? Of COURSE you know what to do; you just don't want to do it. Are you looking for someone out here to give you permission ? Or validate you in your wallow ? Come on!
If you have a boyfriend .....one you actually want to keep ...... then there is no decision to be made. It's like "there's no crying in baseball!" Well, there's no cheating in a relationship OR - tah-dah! - there is no relationship. And there is no "I just can't help myself" - - what ? You're incapable of controlling yourself ? You are compelled by a force beyond your free will to flirt like a girl without a boyfriend ?
Ah'm thinkin' not.
You choose to flirt and therefore you have chosen these consequences. Ya brought 'em on yourself. You have two options now - either break it off with your boyfriend and take on the new guy or come clean, risk losing his friendship (and, in fact, you should rid yourself of his friendship if you want to keep your boyfriend) and stay true to your boyfriend.
There's not a whole lot of "in-between" here.
Think of it this way, would you like the roles to be reversed ? How would YOU feel if your boyfriend was flirting with another girl, not telling her about you, getting all lovey and kissey mail from her and then she told him that they were more than friends? How would you like that ?
Ah'm bettin' not much.
Treat your boyfriend and your relationship with him the way you would want to be treated. It's the only way you will ever have a chance of being treated that way.

well you shouldn't play with peoples emotions. looks like your kindof playing with everyone. how good of a friend is he to not even know you have a boy friend? looks like you need to figure out what you want out of life and let everyone else know. it's not fair to keep people in the dark
