I am very good in studies.but I cannot maintain my concentration in studies for a long time because of my computer in front of me.I have developed a very bad tendency to surf in the net very frequently between my studies.Also I can't go to other rooms because of crtain personal problems.How can I maintain my concentration level without turning on the computer.I can understand that I am losing my valuable time for studying because of this.Please help!!

Why don't you try going outside, in a shady spot. You can take your texts books with you, and relax where it is quiet, and there are no distractions. Also if you have to use the computer, be sure to do get all the information you need, then leave the computer behind. I used to do the same thing too, cause of the tv, now I have a computer in my room. There are also other places you can go, like the library, kitchen table, the park, at school, (teachers and friends can help you while your there). You can play some music instead, and that also gets your mind of the computer(use a radio). Just don't let the computer take control of you!

Try teaming up with a friend and do study contests. I tried and worked for me. Although there were brief disruptions but was overall productive.

You seem to be smart enough to figure out the problem/s, I'm sure you are also smart enough to figure out the solutions.

cover the computer from a cloth!!
OR
Move the computer to some other room in the hous ..
