What kind of flea protection are you using? I have heard that eighter Frontline or Advantage will repel other bugs as well.
Also, what kind of shampoo.... I have had good success with this:

If your dog has an allergic reaction to these stings / bites I would be sure to have Benedryl on hand.
Hope this helps

Find the nest and dispose of it, walk elsewhere. Yellow jackets sometimes nest in the ground, and you must be stepping near or on the nest to initiate a defensive response.

Rub yourself with Honey and run around in the woods naked and screaming! Then post the details on Google Earth, so we can all come watch!

My dog gets stung all the time trying to bite them when she is outside. If it really hurts them, then they would avoid them or stop chasing them. The only thing to be concerned about is if he/she is allergic.

Ouch! Can you do anything to get rid of the bees? Otherwise, talk to your vet or go to your local pet store to inquire about pet-safe insect repellent.

Ummmm, stay out of the wooded area? Man, I thought that they only let stupid people give birth to babies? Isin't there a tighter restriction on becoming a pet owner?

Are they stinging you? Maybe you should find a new place to walk him or carry spray that kills bees with you
