can anyone that has been on Zoloft or know someone that has tell me about the experience? research paper?

I have been on zoloft for a year or so and I feel normal. Before I went on it I was angry or sad all the time. If I run out and don't get to the pharmacy right away, after a couple of days My head gets fuzzy until I get back on the Zoloft. I know thats because you are supposed to go off it slowly. Not all at once. I also have very vivid dreams. They are so strange. Not usually scary but definantely creative. Otherwise, I love Zoloft. Its helped me alot.

I was on Zoloft about 2 years ago. My doc perscribed it to me fpr anxiety/depression during college. When i first started taking it, i was tired all the time and got frequent headaches.That eventually went away, and i was fine. When i would forgert to take it i would get a really dizzy, lightheaded sick feeling. I ventually weened myself off (with the help of my doc) and I am good now!

My doctor put me on it for my depression--he started on Zoloft first because it's one of the only FDA approved drugs for depression or something like that. It didn't work too well for me, so we switched to Celexa--it's better for me than Zoloft.

a few years ago i was prescribed Zoloft but i felt like i was not thinking clear and i couldn't really feel emotional....i was just there...i couldn't feel too happy...i couldn't even cry even if it was happy tears....just too strong for me....i know it is an anti-depressant but i missed my normal emotions...i am now on Lexapro and it seems to balance everything out perfectly...not too strong nor too weak....i don't even realize i am on anything except when i forget to take it and then i become easily irritable...good luck on your paper...so glad i am out of school...lol
