Newfoundlands, methinks.
Either that or terriers. :)

The male Irish Wolfhound is the largest. It is in the giant breed along with the mastifs, newfoundlands, St. Bernard, and of course my dog, the Great Pyrennes. She is small for her breed, but stands on her hind legs at a full 5'4" tall. She beats me by 2 inches. She's a big baby, and absolutely adores kids, especially when they share their animal crackers with her. ha ha

Biggest in height or weight! lol
I'd hazard a guess of the Irish wolfhound being the tallest, bordering with a Great Dane...and a Newfoundland for weight.......?!?!?

Size wise or most popular?
I think retrievers and poodles are the most popular. I believe Irish Wolf Hounds are the largest in size. I have a Newfoundland which isn't much smaller then a wolf hound.

It's maybe the golden retreiver because almost every house that gets a dog has a golden retriver.
