I have no job or insurance,and my dr. wants me to go to Mayo Clinic. I am very sick,I have a cyst on my pineal gland in my brain. I am so scared.Any advice would be appreactied.

I suggest you contact the Mayo Clinic and ask them to direct you to financial help. Also, check out sites having to do with organizations that focus on the brain. Often, these organizations have funds to assist people in your situation. I recall one place in California that is a big organization that assists people financially and emotionally.

Call Mayo and see if they are willing to work with you. Explain the situation and sometimes they can do a procedure pro bono if it can be a high profile case or sometimes they may do it for the writeoff. That would be the first place to start and you could also ask your doctor for possible options.

try and obtain a Medicaid card. or try contacting the mayo clinic,they may have indigent programs.
