they look similar..but they have many websites you can go to and check out what the plants and rashes look like try www.poisonivy.com
contrary to WIDE belief that you can not spread it from person to person...you CAN ...but what happens is, if one person has just gotten the plant oils on say their hands and then touches you before they realize and before they wash their hands...yes you can get it that way! however, once they have broken out with the rash you generally do not see a person to person contact rash.
my boyfriend has poison ivy right now and he has had it for a week, i still sleep next to him every night and put ivy dry and aveeno oatmeal cream on his rash for him and i have not gotten it yet
