My doctor (obgyn) told me to eat watermelon when I was pregnant so it can't be bad!

Yes, watermelon is a great food! Natural sugar that occurs in fruit is different than refined sugar. Yes, it's a source of carbohydrates, but the other nutritional benefits outweigh any slight disadvantage.

A "large wedge" of watermelon contains 180 calories, 2.46 grams of fat, 41 grams of carbs, and 3.55 grams of protein. It has a ton of Vitamins C and A and a good deal of other vitamins and minerals. It also has a lot of liquid, which is good. In a balanced diet, watermelon is a great addition.

Watermelon has only 8% of sugar and i think that much of sugar content in your body does absolutely no harm at all. It has 92% water contents - think about it 92% what else could we want and it is the yummiest of all fruits. watermelon is very good for you i eat it all the time or when i get the chance if it has sugar its probably that natural sugar which isn't bad

It has natural sugar, which is good for you. Also, because of the water content, it fills you up really well without too many calories. An excellent carb choice for any diet (as all food groups are essential to good health!).

watermelon is a great source of vitamins,fiber,and water,its great for you!All sugar is not bad,the natural sugars in WM are good for you!!

Yes it is at one time I was Diabetic and was banned from eating watermelon

it has all the nutrients a person needs except for fat.
apparently, there's protein in watermelon too.
