It sounds like she just has to be the center of everyone's attention, regardless of the relationship. She's the insecure one.

It is possible she doesn't want you to flirt with the wrong girl or she may in some small way have feelings for you. There are so many possibilities there. If you are unseure ask her why she stopped you. Most likely you will not get a straight answer but it does not hurt to ask.

Ah, she likes to think she has BOTH of you on the line. Flirt with whoever you want to. Unless you were flirting with a girl you had no interest in and it offended the girl you were with, she just wants your attention- but not necessarily you.

It is hard to answer your question with the information given. Is your female friend homophobic for instance? If so then she may not want to see her friend behaving in this manner. Perhaps your friend isn't phobic, but doesn't see you as being someone that would do that. Or maybe she is interested in you and is jealous, but as I said. with the information you gave so far, it isn't easy to answer.

hmmm.. maybe she knows the girl. Ok, so here's THE BEST advice. Talk to your girl friend about it. The one who's kinda seeing your friend. Ask her what that was, she's the only one that knows and she would appreciate the honesty and confrontation =)

Yes that is jealousy any time a girl gets mad when you are flirting with another girl in front of them its because she is jealous.

If you're waiting for people to say she likes/loves you. You'll wait forever. You've found a friend who is territorial, when out with her (even as a friend) you pay attention to her and her only. Alright.

Jealousy can be ugly, however it is human. No one wants to feel like you are checking out someone else while you are with them. It doesn't feel very good.
