You don't mention why you want to stop.
Some people have a naturally flirty personality and "flirt" with everyone, not just guys. These are friendly people who are fun to be around. Such people cannot stop flirting, but they can control HOW they flirt, be nonsexual.
If the problem is you are married but flirting, simply think how your husband would feel if he were standing right next to you and saw you flirt.
If you are otherwise involved in a relationship, take it as a sign you might not want to be committed or that you need to tame yourself a bit.
If the flirting is so heavy you're making people uncomfortable, try to discover why you do it and then change the behavior.
If you're attracting people who don't realize you're just playing, then try to pay better attention to how you treat people.
I can't think of any "methods" for not flirting. It comes from inside.

Sweetie, flirting with guys is only a symptom of a larger problem. Don't try to control your flirting, because it will only frustrate you. I feel you may have a self esteem problem. You may also have a "daddy" issue. Maybe you did not get enough attention from a father figure.
When you work on your self esteem and sense of self worth, your flirting will fade. You have a need for attention on a level that is not healthy. You need constant reassurance that you are pretty, nice, sexy, etc.
This is a serious issue that may take professional advice. Because if this behavior goes unchecked, you may have serious consequences like having a baby before marriage, develop promiscuous behavior, and possibly get VD.
Good luck honey. This one is difficult. But it is possible to see yourself as "enough", without validation from an outside source. But it will take more work than just wanting to.

I have the complete opposite problem. I don't know how to flirt with guys enough. So my advice to you on how to stop flirting with guys is just to not stare or be overly polite. Because you catch their attention that way and when they do talk to you don't blush or smile, be serious about it and simply brush them off. You're sending a message out to guys that your easy so they are attracted to you in that way. Make your personallity to them a tuff one to crack and that way less guys will be willing to hang around. But of course. I'm sure you like the attention.

You need to just pay close attention to what you are doing and your actions because flirting with other guys if you are in a relationship can get you into a lot of trouble. Just watch yourself and when you find yourself flirting you can stop yourself.

What are you talking about! Flirting is so much fun! Unless you're in a serious relationship. Which, flirting is still innocent, but if you do it all the time, he might get kinda mad. I have to admit, if my boyfriend flirted all the time, it would piss me off a bit.

Why would you want to stop flirting? It's a natural thing. It's a part of you. Just don't let it get too out of hand.

Wear ugly clothes for a while. Looking like crap will make you avoid wanting to talk to guys. Once you get used to that, maybe you'll stop flirting with guys.
