The rash is all over my body, but mostly on neck and chin. It burns like fire and itches at the same time.

You should definately see your family doctor who can diagnose it better. The emergency doctors could have helped but probably felt it wasn't life threatening and it could wait for a follow up. You need a cortisone cream for the itching. Take some benadryl liquid or pills by mouth to stop your body from producing histamine and making the condition worse. You should also try taking 2 ibuprofen for the inflammatory reaction your body is having (redness, swelling and heat) then, apply something cold to the rash. Cold packs or cool rags or a cold bath. If you have recently changed soaps, laundry detergents, food, stop. Go back. You should also wash the enitre rash and pat it dry at least 3 times a day because it could be contact dermatitis. Be sure to follow up with your doctor because you may need an oral steroid to get rid of it.

I would suggestion you go and see a doctor. The doctor can give you medication for the rash to go away.
