Generally not

Many Local anaesthetics are metabolized in the tissues or in the blood stream. Some do circulate and are metabolized in the liver,

Usually the dose is very small and will not affect breast milk.

PUMP OUT SOME MILK AND STORE IT AWAY .SO YOU CAN FEED YOUR BABY FOR THE FOLLOWING 24 HOURS AFTER YOU HAVE HAD THE ANEASTHETIC .. IT WILL AFFECT YOUR BABY, HOWEVER IT WONT AFFECT YOUR MILK SUPPLY . AFTER 24 HOURS IT SHOULD BE SAFE TO RESUME NORMAL FEEDING.

depends on what they gave you but most medicines are exerted in breast milk.
it shouldn't hurt you newborn
i would ask you doctor anyways if you have any concerns
also, it will be out of your system in 24 hours that means out of your milk.
