About $2 or $3 dollars. Depends how much they do for your hair and what the cost of the cut is. Always be polite when it comes to tipping.

I shave it now, but for a barber I would give $5. When I'd go to a place that was a bit more upscale I'd tip $15 - $20.

You tip what you honestly feel the stylist deserves. I've received a dollar from some and $20-$40 from others. We don't expect you to tip us, that would be rude, but we do like it when you do..lol

Anywhere between 10 and 15% depending on what she did and how long it took her...if it was just a quick trim and the charge was $15.00 ( like for one of my kids ) then I would tip her $3.00. But, when I get a color and trim, I usually tip her between $8-10.

I tip 10-15% many times in the event that they a minimum of make the attempt to confirm what i desire in a hair decrease, in the event that they are friendly/effective, cope with my hair nicely, and if i like the decrease. i will bypass as much as twenty% in the event that they supply dazzling provider (rather take the attempt and time to make optimistic I savour the journey) and a great decrease. The greater attempt they positioned funds into protecting me a happy shopper, the greater I tip.

I usually tip about 20 bucks if I go for the whole deal (color, cut, highlights)
For just a trim, 5 bucks

i don't tip them either.
a)because i never seen to get the same stylist twice
and,
b)though this may sound extremely rude to some of you; i don't believe in giving someone a tip for simply doing thier job.
my tipping is reserved for someone who goes over and above what is expected of them and i have never had a hairsytlist do that for me without charging me extra. ;)

15-20% just like anything else. I always tip and think it's so rude when people are that cheap or just plain ignorant.
