Everyone who knows him tells me "he likes you a lot, I just can tell" He hugs me, tells me im pretty and always is asking me to do things. He likes this other girl. The only thing he has done is hug her. He never asks her to do anything, and she always has to call him (this guy always calls me). Im so confused. he acts one way, and says the other. Help me if you can!! =] thanks

sometimes, guys give you clues that they like you , but dont really mean it. but from a guys point of view, i can safely say that he does indeed like you, but is afraid of saying it. Instead, he chose to hide it with the fact that he is interested in another girl.Unless he doesnt see you as the girlfriend material and probably looking out for others. But ,by the way he's acting and behaving , he definately likes you. Just make sure you don't get emotionally involved and keep you hopes up just yet. All the best to ya! =D

Honey, guys are confusing. I'm completely in love with my best friend, and I wish I were as brave as you- I can't bring myself to tell him. Maybe he's just really affectionate. You need to ask him straight up what his feelings are. Tell him you're tired of the mixed signals, and you just wanna know exactly what he's thinking. Ask him why he likes the other girl and not you. This could make things awkward, but at least you'll *know*.

well, I'm unbelievably close my a guy friend, and everyone assumes we're going out because we act like we are. But we're just comfortable around eachother and we don't like eachother like that at all. I'm thinking that could be what he's like. I mean ask him a little about this girl.He may not know what to say to her because he's shy and stuff. I'd just be careful about reading into his signals too much. On the other hand, he may just be testing you because he blew you off that time. and he may think you're over it so he's seeinghow you respond!

I would just keep the friendship going, and let it go wherever it goes. Sometimes it just takes time. People tend to overlook what is right in front of them. If you really want to see how much he likes you, try making him work a little harder at seeing you and doing things with you. He might realize how much he misses hanging out with you.

MAN ARE UNPREDICTABLE TYPE OF CREATURE, THEY ARE THE HARDEST TYPE OF CREATURE TO UNDRESTAND BUT THEY ARE HUMAN LIKE YOU. In you case I will give this thing for you to think of when you did came in to this kind of relayionshipo do you expected more than you should? Because if you bestfriend just told himself to love till the way of loving a sister it's your fault of thinking the other way around or maybe he is afraid to show, because some men value the relationship they made and he might be one of them, He is afraid to express himself because he made a monster which is now frigthening him at this moment.

i actually like Big Mak's answer.

He's being a tool if he leads you on like that. You have to get it out, or it's just gonna eat away at you. If he says it again. Then let him be alone for a while. Stay away from him. He might realize what he wants most and come running back to you.

Best of luck :)

In other words, he's sending you mixed signals. Do you know his reputation? Maybe he just got out of a relationship and is hesitant to start something with you. I would recommend that you be patient with this one and don't get too excited. Just be yourself and don't pressure him into anything. Maybe he's just feeling you out at this point. So far, so good, so don't rock a steady boat.

95% of the time, its the guy friend that likes the girl friend. this might just be a case where you both like each other. Tell him again, and if he explains that he doesn't feel like that, then hey, be happy with being friends, b/c its better than nothing.

Keep the friendship going. No matter what happens, either he is being honest with you or it will develop into something great. There is nothing greater than having your significant other be your best friend too!

well from what i m reading he deff likes and is scared to death to tell ya anythin in the fear of how it will turn out. I think that he does not want to loose you if things go south. In this kind of situation you need to take the initative and confront him and see where that takes you.

good luck
