1. I'm sure they already know but clue them in to the fact that it grows back.
2. Do like I did when I was younger and mom wouldn't let me have more than one hole in each ear. I locked myself in the bathroom with a needle and some ice and took care of it. Once its done there is nothing anybody can do about it. Its hair for god sake it will grow back. Unlike my ears which now I do regret doing.

just shave it and then there is no going back
your punishment will be over before the hair grows back
