There is a response to every prayer. While for most people it is not a voice, I imagine it would be possible. There are plenty of instances in the Bible that show God speaking to someone, the burning bush, etc..

Generally I think answers come as ideas or feelings, seeing a word or phrase, hearing a song, etc.. it's usually a subtle thing that you have to be paying attention to catch.

It's NOT normal. When you pray, response do not come in voices. Either your are thinking the answer for yourself or you forgot to take your medicine.
Anyway, it also depends on your religion. Some religion have different school of thoughts. Best to see a doctor of the mind or your spritual doctor/leader.

well it depends on what the voice is saying....if its saying something bad, like youre not gonna make it in life, or something thats belittling you, then thats probably the devil. if its guiding you and telling you what to do in a positive manner, then thats the Lord. it's normal to get a response from the Lord. he helps you in life and praying is a form of communication with him.

I think it is just an echoe.

Just stop praying out loud: there won't be any voice talking back then.

We pray to communicate our needs to God. We pray for our health. We pray for our family. We pray for our friends. We pray to find love. We pray for our enemies. We pray for our flocks in the field. We pray for plentiful harvests. God knows our needs, but we pray and ask to have our lives blessed. We pray for wisdom when our own fails.

Should we not expect an answer when we pray? We expect to receive blessings, but why not answers? The heavens are not closed.

Though I am Athiest and you probably wont believe me. I believe that these are fabricated in your own mind. If not, then you should see a psychitrist becase then you have a mental issue of identity.

For the sake of curiousity, what are these voices saying?

Depending on what the voice says. If it's mostly anti social/ hate messages I would disregard it completely.

It's your subconscious. I guess it's normal for you. Yeah, you
