I am pro-choice BECAUSE I trust in God's wisdom. The whole reason we are here is to make choices, and to be judged accordingly. Free agency is what we exercise in accordance with our own nature, to do good or bad.

I believe every woman has the choice, but I believe the choice should be life. That's my opinion.

genadtt has it correct. I do not believe that I as a person can make the choice for someone else based on my life. That does not mean I would support anyone in my life getting an abortion but it also means I would not condemn them. Not the biggest religion guy but I believe there is a little saying from the Bible that goes" judge not less you be judged"

Because I had to make some choices a few years ago myself, and I'd be a hypocrite twice over if I said I was pro-life. Plus, I am all for freedom of choice in all things personal.

i am pro choice, not because i want an abortion, but because i want the right to make that decision. i want the right for all women. the right to choose. i remember when there were no options. it would never be an easy choice to make. still better than no choice.

abortion should never be used as a form of birth control. in my opinion, abortion should be used as the last resort - when nothing else would protect the mother from harm.

I'm pro-choice because I think that women should have a choice. Normally I take on the "Too bad, your fault, stupid!" line, but what about the women who've been raped? Abused? All that blah-dy blah blah? If you think you are unfit to be a mother/ don't have the necessities to support one, that is a smart decision--children shouldn't suffer from your mistakes. Maybe I'm pro-choice because I hate the Christian people going "You're taking a life, you're going to hell!" I also don't believe that it's "taking a life"--it's not as if the baby is yet conscious. That, for me, means you aren't "alive" yet.

I am "pro-choice" because it is not my business to interfere in other people's lives unless I am prepared to care for them and support them financially for a long time. (Like I did when I had children.) I don't call my position "Pro-Choice" but more like "Pro-Decision". A "choice" sounds shallow, like your choosing something nice to eat from a menu in an elegant restaurant. Making a decision is more like deciding to fight, or flee; to live, or die; to take action, or to wait. Sometimes, an unwanted pregnancy can make you decide all three at once.

Being that each individual is different the same answer should not apply to everyone and nor should how they come to that answer. Pro-choice doesn't mean pro-abortion it means just what it says.. it says one has the choice between all options and abortion is only one of them. Perhaps that is a bit simplistic but that is how I feel.

Being pro-choice includes being pro-life.
Why can't anyone understand this simple fact?
Being pro-choice on the other hand means that the woman has the final say in thier reproductive choice. No one else.
Not thier partner, not the state and certianly not an outdated mythology with it's bronze-age set of morals.

I have to agree with most here. It's about having the ability to make the decision for yourself and not having someone else's views forced upon you. That is why I'm pro-choice.
