They worship both Allah and make an idol out of the Quran. And since the penalty for insulting Muhammad is death (just like insulting Allah), you could argue that they worship and have three Gods. You don't get the death penalty for insulting any ordinary human being, but you get it for insulting any one of their three gods.

Muslims do not idolize the Quran. You will not see any Muslims bowing down to the Quran thinking it has special powers. Muslims respect the Quran, the same way the Christians respect the Bible. As far as killing people because they insult Muhammad has no basis in Islam. Where in the Quran does it say kill everyone that insults Muhammad? The countries that practice that are not acting on Islam. They are acting off of their own stuff. Insulting God (Allah) in Islam also does not have the death penalty. Everybody has the right to say what they want and believe what they want and Islam supports that. Islam is purely monotheistic. Get your facts straight.

Allah is God, but Muhammad is a prophet. A prophet is not the same thing as a God. And the Quran is their holy book I believe.

Its the same as Christians and their treatment of Jesus and the Bible. They may place a lot of importance on both, but they are not a god.

I wise I had a good answer for you right now, but my brain function is not working at the moment. You have a good point but I have nothing to give you that would hit the spot or get me ten points.
Maybe next time you ask something I will have a better answer.
