GOD’S purpose for the earth is really wonderful. Jehovah wants the earth to be filled with happy, healthy people.

Jehovah God’s purpose for people to live in an earthly paradise will be realized. “I have even spoken it,” God declares, “I shall also do it.” (Isaiah 46:9-11; 55:11) Yes, what God purposes he will surely do! He says that he “did not create [the earth] simply for nothing” but “formed it even to be inhabited.” (Isaiah 45:18.) What kind of people did God want to live on the earth? And for how long did he want them to live here? The Bible answers: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:3, 4.

JEHOVAH GOD placed the first human couple in a paradise on earth—the garden of Eden. He instructed them to have children and to ‘subdue the earth,’ which would involve expanding their Paradise home as their family grew in numbers. (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:15) Will God’s purpose for humans to enjoy an earthly paradise ever be fulfilled?

Indeed, it will. According to Bible prophecy, “Jehovah will actually swallow up death forever” and “will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.” When this occurs, “one will certainly say: ‘Look! This is our God. We have hoped in him, and he will save us. This is Jehovah. We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.’”—Isaiah 25:8, 9.

During the rule of God’s Kingdom, there will be a literal fulfillment of prophecies of marvelous things. As foretold, blind eyes will be opened, deaf ears will be unstopped, the lame will leap as a deer, and no one will be sick. There will also be peace and security everywhere on earth. Even animals that are now dangerous will be at peace with man.—Isaiah 9:6, 7; 11:6-9; 33:24; 35:5, 6; 65:17-25.
Would you like to live forever under the rule of God’s Kingdom, surrounded by such conditions? Jesus showed what you must do when he said in prayer to his father: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3.)

Jesus taught us to pray: “Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.” (Matthew 6:10.)

Thus, The earth was created specifically for human habitation. Furthermore, it is God’s purpose for the earth to be an eternal home for mankind. “He has founded the earth upon its established places; it will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever.”—Psalm 104:5; 119:90.

Humans have a role as loving, peaceful, appreciative worshipers of their creator for all eternity here on this planet. You individually have the role of deciding whether or not you want to be in that group. If you do, you would want to search his word for the truth, and act upon it. An awful lot of people wonder the same thing, but unfortunately take the word of some preacher or priest that tell you that you will die and your soul will flitter off to heaver or hell.
The truth is, you do not have an immortal soul, nor is there a fiery hell anymore than there is a three-faced God. Those things are artifacts of many pagan religions that Emperor Constantine incorporated into his version of Christianity in the 4th century. He did it to consolidate his power and remove the pagan priests from having any influence over his people.

I ask this same question once in a meditation. The answer came clear as a bell.

It said I have placed you here to learn the true meaning of Love. What ever it was that was answering then told me something that really set me back. It said that I felt the way I did about certain people because I did not understand the true meaning of love. I protested and said that I did my best to love all of
the people who were deserving of love.

It replied "yes that is, you’re misunderstanding. You see love as something
that you dole out in tiny little portions here and there to people who you
have judged to be worthy of it. This is not love at all, it is only
judgment". This stopped me dead in my tracks. I suddenly realized that what
it was saying to me was true. This realization brought me to tears. It went
on and told me, "You treat love as though there is some shortage of it. It
is not something that you can run out of. The more love that you give, the
more love that there is in the world. Its that simple. The only way that
there can be a shortage of it is if you hoard it and keep it to yourself."

It went on to explain, that "this is what Jesus was trying to tell you when
he asked you to turn the other cheek, to judge not and to love your
neighbor. He made no exceptions in these things that he requested of you.
Why are you making exceptions, and judging some as worthy of love and others
as not? Jesus fully intended for you to apply this love that you are to all,
in a universal manner without any judgment of any sort". By this time the tears
Were flowing so freely. I was crying because for the first time in my life I
Understood what the message Jesus left for us in the bible actually meant.

This has become my truth. I can't say what yours is for sure, but I have a feeling that it is probably similar.
