Surely he must have had his equal and opposite to have balance , The religious would bestow an equal power in the negative to satan. But jesus miracles were turning gallons of water to wine
Raising a widows son from the dead.
Walking on water
Feeding the five thousand.
I have never heard of Satan being able to to anything that opposites these ,so i have to conclude that satan doesnt have the same power as jesus . Good and love being a much stronger force that bad.
All the so called evil men of history
Like hitler , robert mugabwe, ,the brutality and blood thirst of the romans ,nothing quite compares to the good that jesus did. What do you all think. ?

A small amount of hatred could effect the masses ie hitler, turning a society into executioners, No disrespect to the jewish lives lost im not trying to trivialise what happened ,i just dont see it as the opposite of jesus's miracles.

Well dear you have me there I can find nothing to say in responce.
There is no one that is Jesus's opposite that can kill with just the laying on of hands are make one sick with just a word out of their mouth.
Jesus cast out demonds with just the words of his mouth raised the dead.
But no I would have to say I have not heard of anyone being able to do just the opposite.
Very go observation there and very good question.

Satan has much power which is seen every day by the acts of the greedy, selfish and hatefull people of which there are many in the world. Jesus was a very great man, of the type we don't see very often, though he was a man. Satan however is an energy conciosness which manifests itself through evil people to create more evil, just like God manifests himself through such holy people as Jesus or other truly holy figures to create good. Jesus' opposite is the antichrist who is supposedly on the Earth right now along with the Reencarnation of Christ. I hope this time evil does not manage to destroy our saviour once again, for humanities sake.

Its not really a matter of balance where Jesus is concerned. He came to make Father God visible. All that He did, He did because the Father led Him to do it and gave Him the power to do it. He said that He didn't come to do His own will, but the will of the Father. He was like the "glove" on the "hand." As far as satan is concerned, his only power is lies. He leads people through lies. That's not real power, its just taking advantage of the gullible.
Nothing compared to the good that Jesus did because He made the invisible God visible. Something this planet had never seen before.

Good and love is a much stronger force than evil. How does one continue to hate when all they get in response is love? These men were controlled by their own self interests and Satan just built on that interest. He uses people that are open for this very purpose. Mankind until they accept the Lord as who He is will be naturally evil in one form or another. You have instances of it on here all of the time with the bashing and hatefulness that spews forth. Satan goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour or destroy.

I think Satan is more subtle, but that doesn't make him less powerful and if you think it does, you are a sitting target for him. I disagree with Miracles dont happen today. I witness one last week when someone was shot in the eye with an arrow during archery and it didn't pierce the eyelid. Even the doctors were amazed as were the archery staff who have participated in this sport for 20 odd years. Miracles happen if you believe.

Jesus did in fact do miracles
good and evil are NOT equal and opposite evil is a corruption of good
so I gotta toss the ying/yang apprach as not reasonable way to portray good and evil
in fact even the enemies of Jesus believed he did miracles and came up with some lame stories about them and this disciples went to their deaths confessing he rose from the dead, something you will not do for a lie
Isnt it great ... and in heaven there will not be equall portions of happiness and sadness... there will in fact be no pain or suffering or death... these will be gone gone gone.. form there

Satan has no power to do good. Satan being jealous of God is what got him cast out of Heaven in the first place.
Satan does a lot of bad he he keeps people in turmoil, but he can't heal someone like God can.
Yes, God is much more powerful than Satan, even though Satan tries - If you have God with you, you can overcome anything Satan dishes out.

Jesus was indeed a healer, his power can from his father in heaven.he also was capable of raising the dead.but ..the ones he raised, died again. did they
not?Jesus earthly life and ministry were a fulfilment of prophecy. A start of a
new covenent with mankind. If we believe in him and do his will, and become
baptised,we have the hope of everlasting life, through his shed blood.and the next time he raises people from the dead they will not have to die again.
satan is very powerful, but no creature is more powerful than God and his
anointed king Christ Jesus.....

I think you have got it in one. I have studied the Bible for 25 years and can even translate revelation, There's a lot more to it though but this knowledge is wonderful but frightening for those who do not follow the instructions given and have faith in God's promise. I think you may be half way there. If you and many more of you knew what I and 5 million others know I think you may just have a heart attack.

Based on your statements here, I'd say you don't quite have a clear understanding of WHAT satan is.
"Satan" is not its name. Satan is a title. It means adversary in Hebrew. Satan is not God's adversary. Satan is OUR adversary. As it says in Revelations "for the accuser of our brothers is cast out - who night and day accused them before God."
Satan is an angel. Jesus is God. Big difference. Hebrew scholars believe satan's actual name is Samael - which means poison of God. Hence Samael is often confused with the Angel of Death - who puts us to sleep with a drop of poison.
Samael was cast out from Heaven because he refused to be obedient to God. The story goes he is the most beautiful of all angels and aspired to put himself above God. He refused to bow to man - God's special creation.
As such, he "lives" to turn us away from God. He hopes to get us to strive towards all 7 deadly sins so that we will be banned from Heaven as he is.
While you may not have heard stories of his power - he is a mighty angel. He does work miracles. That's why we must be people of great discernment. Just because a person is healed, it doesn't mean they were healed by God. They may have been healed by satan in order to urge them away from God. An apparition of Jesus may infact be satan, showing up to urge us away from God.
Evil is real and should never be dismissed the way you seem to want to dismiss it. There are more Christians dying for their faith right now, today, than every before. Genocide is rampant. All we can do is pray. Pray for God to change the hearts of these people.
