English, for many reasons.
Extremely flexible.
Easily absorbs word and constructs from other languages.
Gender-neutral (mostly).
Rich in words. Crossword puzzles in smaller languages would certainly not be as challenging.
That same richness and flexibility has been used to create compelling and unique literature, plays and song. And what language can touch it for unusual turns of phrase, playful word games, or the fun (and pain) of the pun?

I'm a sucker for French. Even when you insult someone in French it sounds beautiful. Many of the words end in vowel sounds, which adds to the smooth, almost musical flow of the language. I'm fluent in French and I never get tired of speaking it.

I would have to say French, because you can say something like:
Je vous déteste, la chienne stupide, je souhaite que vous feriez juste va dans un coin et meurt.
And it can sound like a sexy flirt.
Now this is contrasting becase my original language is German, and I think that it is a very sexy language (alittle more then English) and it is much more percise in what you say, like in English you have to pick up on body language to see if something is sarcastic or ill-ment but in German that is a whole different word to express that!
Hope it helped!

Tolkien's Elvish, which is actually an ancient Finnish dialect. You dont have to understand or speak something for it to be beautiful. Just like you dont have to be able to play a certain song or paint a certain picture to find the beauty in it.

I would have to say French by far.
The way it rolls of the tongue it is pleasant to the ear and my girlfriend just loves it when I talk to her in French. Drives her crazy. She also understands and speaks French. It's where we met French Class. Besides Paris is known as the City of Love. French can't be wrong.
