No such thing as unbearable pains. There are lots of psychiatrist and social workers out there. Suicide is the result of a deep depression.

Suicide is a response to extreme stresses, pressures or pain that has no apparent solution or end. The people wanting to check out really do feel they have no choice, that this is the only way to 'make it stop'. Most are not mentally ill. The depression is usually caused by the situation, not brain chemistry or wiring. These people are normal.
I have always thought it would be interesting to sort out all the causes that suicides and serious attempted suicides without reference to an assumption of mental illness. Were they dealing with a government agency, bad marriage, extreme pain, a dishonorable action, financial ruin, other? You can't know what is going on in another person's mind, but to merely label them 'weak minded' or 'mentally ill' is a cop-out. They would not do it if they did not feel they had a damn good reason - it would be more productive to sort out what they felt the reason was and why than to simply hang labels on them.

Poor backgrounds huh? Well Thank GOD for the continuing process of your individual, intellectual evolution huh?
Now you come to this conclusion from that extreme, to rest upon an assumption of weak mindedness as opposed to just poor breeding?
None of us want you to have to walk around COMPLETELY ignorant. All Hail the process of rational deductive reasoning... keep going, you're almost there hon...
I have photos of the people trapped at the top of the world trade center who committed suicide by jumping out of a burning, about to explode building. Sometimes... life seems to give you no other choices under certain circumstances. To some, it feels like the same thing.
Depression is an illness. Like Cancer, like diabetes, like AIDS.
Choices for some are more drastic because to them, the situation, (especially when on going and never seems to let up,) if it be imagined, exaggerated or honest and genuine. Sometimes, the pain is greater than the consequence involved in ending it once and for all.
Sylvia Plath
Anne Sexton
Virginia Wolfe
Heart Crane
Shall I go on? Breeding and weak mindedness has absolutely nothing to do with it.

i would say people who commit suicide are desperate, scared of consequences, feel useless, feel ashamed, and/or have no purpose in their life.... i personally don't believe they are "justified" because their life was "unbearable".... it's a subjective thing. there's always a positive side. there's always a choice. either die trying to live ur life to the fullest, to its potential, to strive for positivity and goodness.... or u can die feeling broken, useless, ashamed, miserable, and "no good". but again, i don't look down on someone if they did commit suicide; it's a very tragic, horrible and waste of a wonderful person's life. even if things were really bad, i believe everyone can at least try to turn it around. and if they don't see purpose in life, it's because of a mixture of factors in their life, perhaps not having many friends, not having supportive family, etc...that is why it's so important to develop relationships and surround urself w/ positive people.
i think poor people may commit suicide because they don't see a future for themselves. they've given up; perhaps they've tried all they thought they could do, and see no results. they feel like the world is against them, they don't want to live anymore because other people are better off, luckier, and they are "doomed" to feel like a failure.
i feel like CEO's and celebrities commit suicide because they are unhappy. they live their lives w/ no real consequences, take too many drugs, drive themselves crazy, fixate on temporary fun and excitment, and are not Truly HAPPY. hence, no purpose in life. because being happy can keep you going, and being sad will stop u in ur tracks. and the more things you have, the more responsibilities u have, that can weigh u down. that is true of All people. which is why it's so important to always encourage, help, and be there for people who don't seem strong enough in their Happiness, and their ability to seek the Positive things in life.
suicide, i think in the end, is the "easy way out". of course it's very hard to follow thru w/ committing suicide....i feel terribly for the people who feel the must end their life. but i still believe if they continued to strive for the best, the positive, the healthy things in life, they can achieve Anything better than what they have now. they just have to have an Open Mind, and stop Punishing themselves for the past. or feeling like a victim. it's worth it to find a job, do something, be productive..for urself as well as society. like i said.. doing all u can to make good friends, and learn to help yourself be "happy" can help you get thru the bad times..but having nothing and being "sad" all the time will get u nowhere fast....

Eat a healthy diet. Men pollute the Earth and expect to be healthy.
Don't eat pork or other scavengers. Also, get into the word of God. This are the most common reasons why people think of suicide.
Leviticus 11 explains on the type of food we are allowed to eat. Read it.

Suicide is a selfish act. Most of the people I counsel that say they are suicidal are so wrapped up in their life...they are so focused on themselves that they can't see anything accurately.
Life is tough, people are mean...and we all are to accept it, and move on.
Life isn't perfect...and life isn't 100% horrible either. Most people can move on ... those that can't or don't move on and choose to stay in the pit may commit suicide.
There is another group of people that commit suicide...they are those that have done something they they can't live with. They are ashamed of themselves and those around them are ashamed of them too. To live with the consequences of their sin is unbearable.

I do not think it is justifiable, but forgivable. I think when a person gets that low, they feel so alone and that no one will understand what they are going through or feeling. Someone, somewhere will understand. I always tell my husband an kid that if something is bothering them, they need to get it out - there is more room on the outside!

Suicide can come from a deep feeling of uselessness
and hopelessness. I have to admit, I've had these thoughts at a time of deep depression. I was shocked that I had the thought. What stopped me was not wanting to hurt my family.
