Maybe you should work on your relationship with your mom, and your future baby's daddy, and see a theripist, because you are looking for love, and a baby will not love you, a baby will need you all the time, no parties, no fun, no movies, no dating, no drinking, no going to the mall no buying yourself anything without feeling guilty.. I am 26 and I have 3 kids, I was married, and I can tell you that it is a hard life trying to find someone to babysit so you can go to the doctors is a challenge, I mean think about what life with a baby really means, babysit a infant for a few hours, then a 2 yr old and then maybe a four yr old, they are all demanding and all in differnt ways

Listen to your mom. It doesn't sound like you are ready to bring a baby into this world. Try finishing college and getting married first.

I think you should have a kid!!!
After all you have already made up your mind why wait.
Start living you live through your future child ... hurry up and drop out of college & work at Burger King to save up for your child's college education.
With a little luck your child will become a college drop that has a kid with someone they don't care about also!!!

Your mom is only trying to look out for you. She does not want you to go through the hardships that she had to face. If it does happen though, I am sure that your mother will be fine with it.

She knows from experience. Babies happened to me. I love my children to death, but have struggled due to having them so early. Now at 42 I am still working on finishing my degree.

well if you can juggle taking care fo a kid and studying, I say kudos to you! get a puppy see how it works out. Dogs are a lot of work too. well not as much as a baby, but you will get some sense of taking care of another creature.
