No world peace, you will hear Peace, peace but you will not see world peace.
Is the world getting scary?
Yes.
Got a group of sub-humans running around blowing themselves up and other people too.
Then they say it was for God.
They haven't got a clue about God.
Unless they think God is a murderer.
I think, mankind has a serious mental problem.
They like to destroy.
Look at the weapons they make. They have the capability of killing the whole world population.

I don't know what you mean by 'believe in world peace' but there NEVER has been peace everywhere on Earth and I am sorry to say there never will be by the hands of men. People love to covet, dominate and kill to much for total peace to happen, so the only way this could ever be brought about by men is through overwhelming force, but is that peace? Sounds like the old communist Russia to me.

The conditions of the world are scary. There will be no lasting peace until Jesus returns and we inter the millennium. The bible says in the last days when they cry peace, peace, sudden destruction will come.

Soon the earth will have world peace, but not through the efforts of the UN or any other man's governments. It will come through the Kingdom of God by the efforts of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

1Co 15:24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
1Co 15:27 For "God has put all things in subjection under his feet." But when it says, "all things are put in subjection," it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.
1Co 15:28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

In this yahoo-section, you'll find many people preaching you have to get ready for the renewed world to come. I don't think they are fairly pessimistic lol.
