I think that was an urban legend about the gay man who had the gerbil stuck up his rectum. I don't think anyone really does it.
If you are serious, it is very cruel to the gerbil so please don't do it. It could also be dangerous to you.

Nope, we have all moved on to larger rodents. Gerbils are soooo 90's.

I don't think so. I probably wouldn't try it unless you have excess money to spend on a hospital and a strong character to withstand the embrasement.
