I was actually just reading the Bible and last night and stumbled across something that relates to this. I forgot exactly what book it was but pretty much what it was saying that sometimes the laws are wrong. And sometimes we have to follow Jesus over the laws. I really don't think in God's eyes were (mankind) seen as different nations, but just as His people. Whether we choose to follow Him or not is what seperates us, not an imaginary line on a border.

I would imagine that they see that these people are breaking the law, particularly the ten commandments. The stealing commandment, the covet thy neighbors goods to name but a few. Don't forget, they are called the ten commandments NOT the ten suggestions. The lord DOES recognize boundaries, He DOES recognize the sovereignty of nations.

wasn't jesus the sort to follow the rules of compassion over the law of the land? wasn't he idolized for his ability to treat people humanely even if they were seen by most as lawless misfits?

god is a figment of human imagination, so whatever "he" thinks about illegal immigrants is in the mind of the believer.

Well, being Jesus was the first humanitarian, I think he would have compassion on these people.....God laws are greater than man's laws.....

I honestly think Jesus would have nothing to do with today's politics......He was always for minorities, woman, Jews, lepers, prostitutes....He condemned hypocrisy and oppression, from the leaders of that time....

God does not judge as man does, national boundaries are imaginary lines established by convention, they have no intrinsic existence and are just means to delimit people and separate us all as human beings, as sons of the ONE GOD who only looks into our hearts and does not care about the silly and petty human enterprises which are finite and impermanent.

I think that God and Jesus love all people and have instructed us to do the same (see New Testament & Ten Commandments).

The same that God thinks about those that create imaginary boundaries and claim ownership over things that were never put up for sale.

JC and/or the big G man would want us to help them in anyway we can. Didn't JC preach to help those less fortunate and help the poor?

You can not be a good Christian if you hate those people who are poor and have to struggle and cross the border to make their life better for their families. True Christians would help those people in anyway they can.
