Why would you want to? The Christian God is supposed to be loving and forgiving. One of the Baptist creeds is a new chance on life through being born again via re-baptism. The Christian God loves all of his childern. To exclude someone from a second chance at life is bigoted. Who are you to decide that someone is unworthy? You are being a hypocrite. This is the exact reason I left Christianity.

Dear Jim B,
I think you are referring to excommunication. But let me say to you that at this time in history, God (the Lord Jesus Christ) is no longer using the churches of any denomination. The church age is over. The Holy Spirit is no longer there so no matter how accurately the preacher follows the Bible, no one can be saved there. This is covered in 2 Thessalonians chpt. 2. You see the Lord has departed from the local congregations (because of their apostasy) and allowed satan (man of sin) to rule there. In addition, those who remain there will be given a strong delusion by God to ensure their damnation! If you read Revelation 18:4- you will understand that all the local congregations have become Babylon and God commands the true believers (His sheep) to come out. There are many other Scriptures to validate this but I do not have the space to list them all.
The true believers are still to go out and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ (sow seed) but they no longer worship in the churches. They can read the Bat home and worship there, as Abraham etc. did in Genesis. The ordinances of the Lord's table and baptism are no longer to followed because they were merely ceremonial laws just as the burnt offerings and peace offerings were in the Old Testament. These ceremonial laws gave no benefit to those who partook of them. They were merely signs pointing to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Well "exluding" is a tough decision that must be made by the pastor and his governing board after many other measures have been taken. I would hope that all other avenues had failed prior to this.
We have had times when the local "Wiccan Coven" wanted to DISRUPT our services and sent a contingent to actually interupt in the middle of services we got wind of it in advance (Our Father is bigger than our enemy :) ) and informed the police ... They were there waiting we informed the congregation the week before and as soon as the coven started to act up the entire congregation opened a path the COPS entered and they were escorted out. We then went on with our services. Interestingly one of them came back and wanted to know how we knew in advance we explained that God is Supreme this person came to understand and repent of her evil and is now a member of our church. Notice though we did not PREVENT them from coming merely removed them when they became disruptive. We will allow all who want to come before God to do so. (We also ask moms to remove crying babies and have a room were they can observe the service through TV feed to allow them not to disrupt us either) So you see we treat ALL BABIES the same LOL

it's done all the time in the south, blacks are excluded by making them feel awful for showing up. Baptists do not excommunicate people like in the Catholic (evil) church.

Well, it would be the equivalent of excommunication, and the apostle Paul approved of this action by Corinthian church, but, after the sinner had repented and shown proper sorrow, he was accepted back into the church.
So, it's possible, but, doesn't have to be permanent.
Not enough info for a very good answer.

What brought this question on? No one should exclude anyone from the house of worship. All who want to come to God, let them come.

You'd have to break off and form a new church... that's what Baptists do!

I should think that just acting in the normal Baptist attitude?religion should keep them from wanting to be there.
