As a muslim I don't associate anything/anybody (who is creatd by god) with god for worshiping .how about you?

in Islam we only worship god ,we dont worship things or people that are created by him, that we can see, hear, smell, imagine ....(even if they are so great people like his messengers ....)
this is the way of worship in islam.
this unity(oneness) of god is so beautiful in islam, because truth is beautiful,
and in fact when you are in a dangerous situations when you really need help, you talk to god naturally and ask him to help you,
in those moments maybe you dont even think about god`s name
but you know you talked to ONE same god. a god who is so near to us(it is mentioned in the holy quran that god is closer to us than our neck`s vein), yes he is closer to us than ourselves,

and we believe he is the best in everything (he is perfect) and logically it is impossible to have more than one best in everything.
why some people associate creatures with the creator????
he is the most powerful, all knowing, most kind ....

the miracles is not illogical because God can do anything and all the miracles were performed by his permission and his will.

In Islam, God tells us to seek knowledge. That was the first thing he told the Prophet. All Truth leads to the Highest Being.

But anyway,Muslims believe Jesus, pbuh, told the believers to worship God and God alone, so did the other prophets.
If God has a son, then he must have a wife. Ha, God is not anything near human.

This will be hard for you to understand, but here goes. I am a Christian that believes in the Father God, the Son God and the Holy Spirit God. They are three in one. All the same in equality. Jesus is the Son of the most high God. He was born of virgin, Mary, who was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit of God. He had no sin, no guile in His mouth, and no hatred. He taught peace, love and joy. Yet He was crucified because He was feared because of His teachings. On the third day He arose. Many seen Him, talked with Him, and ate with Him. Thomas didn't believe, said he wouldn't until he could put his finger in the place the nails went into His hands and side. Jesus came to where Thomas was and he did exactly that, then fell down and worshiped Him. He told Thomas, blessed are you that have seen and believed, but more blessed are they that have not seen and yet believe. Jesus told them He was going to the Father that sent Him. He was going to send a Comforter, the Holy Spirit to them. They was to wait until the Holy Spirit came. The apostles and others waited for 50 days and the Holy Spirit came. The day of Pentecost arrived. Christianity was born and has been for over 2000 years. We all believe that Jesus Christ is Lord sent by the Father, and the Holy Spirit was sent by the Son. You are asking whether Atheists and Christians are one and the same. We are not. Christians follow Jesus, His teaching of love, caring, and goodness. Atheists follow themselves. So as with the Atheists and the Muslims the east never meets the west where Christians are concerned.

Christians only worship one God as well, why can't Muslims get that into their heads?

Why do Muslims believe in the miracles of the Old Testament then say that God sending his Son can't be true because it is ill-logical? All of the Miracles are illogical, yet you believe them.

Who are you to limit the power of God.

He sent his Son to be the perfect example of Peace and Love to ALL people, that is the only way to get it right! None of the Prophets were perfect, If you believe Muhammad is a prophet, you still know he was not perfect because he did not even follow his own rules!

Look at the example of who you believe, I'll stick with Jesus thank you!

Peace!

I respect your religious beliefs.

I think Christians are mis understood.
This may be in part to the mis understanding they hold of themself.

Either way, we are all one with God, a part of the one consciousness that is found from internal peace.
Islam has a good grip on mastery.
We each have a desire, a passion, to be one with the oneness that is.
The struggle is in getting there and "being".

Jesus was the most perfect human.
We all could choose to live like that.
But, it is through our choices that we create sin.
We create Hell, live it, feel that we deserve it.

Islam has no need for that.
There is oneness in God.

Master creates master.

God is great.
You already knmow that you can be one with Him.
You are.
Christians feel, for some reason, they do not deserve that...

Either way God is great!!

Your peace I sense,
my peace I give
to all who wish to receive
love

I am no christian but try this. Fire is born out of fire. A human is b born out of a human. Therefore, the entire creation in its totality is born out of creator - and therefore the creator and creation are one. What I am saying is you dont have to consider the creation as different from God. Consider it as a part of him, yeah even a minute fraction of Him and you will appreciate things better.

Islam sets a very high ideal in a formless god. The world is painted and known through forms and names. One needs illustrations and forms as Gods in human forms to understand the transcendental formless God. Peace!

Your faith has prepared you well for the acceptance of Christ. No Muslim, Jew, Hindi, or even an atheist will ever get out of this world alive without being reborn. Rebirth, wrap your mind around that concept.

p.s. Most people that call themselves Christians, totally ignore this concept.

In Christianity we too worship only God. You are mistaken to assume that we think Christ was only a prophet or a man. He was God in the flesh. You must know that sometimes God appeared to men as a pillar of cloud (Moses) or a burning bush or a booming voice in the sky or varioius other ways, that doesn't mean Moses worshiped a cloud!

Seems to me that catholics have a tendency to worship their man-made saints before God, muslims worship Mohammed over God, even though they won't admit that, and many christians worship Jesus over God, course they don't admit that either. Being a christian, I kind of understand, but remember, Jesus told us how to pray, not to Him, not to Mary, not to any prophet or man-made saint, "Our Father, who art in Heaven".

The Father = God.
The son = Jesus
Holy Spirit = a spirit God bestows on us.

We are not to worship the son or the spirit, because they are simply parts of God, you don't worship parts, you worship only God, the creator.

Christianity varies in practice. Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, Baptist, Presbiterian, Orthodox, and many more.

I can only speak about Methodist churchs. We worship God, He sent us his son Jesus, our Savior(who was with God from the beginning), who taught us the way and gave us the Holy Spirit to live in our hearts and guide us. We can pray(petition) to any/all three but the glory always goes to God.

#1 God does have a son.
#2 We are all "partners" with God. He does his work through us. (as does satan)
#3 God created all people and all things.
#4 God is in each and every one of us. So: when you hurt someone else, you are hurting someone God cares about.
