First of all, if you can feel the lump, you don't need an ultrasound. You know it's there and that's what the ultrasound will tell you. What you need is a biopsy, most likely, so that you know WHAT the lump is. I suggest going to a veterinary school to have it done if your local vet cannot do it.

it is a hernia in a dog if you push it down it will go down it won't hurt it i promise go to the vets have them do srgery it will come back with stiches problely and a cone around it head so it dont bite at the stiches ok k
