It just seems like satan is trying to tare me apart. It seems the closer school gets here the harder he tries to take me down. Why? I am only 17 and am going through more stress and worrying more than an adult would. I try to relax and pray but the more I do that the harder satan hits at me. Just when it seems things are ganna be good he strikes again. I just don't understand why he keeps striking at me. I don't know if I can handle every thing he is throwing at me. He doesn't wait to see if the first thing gets me down before he throws another he just keeps it all coming and its pileing up. The pile is just so high. Sometimes I feel like I can't go on. My friends really aren't friends I have no one at my church that is my age to talk to these things about. I talk to some of the adults and my pastor but its just not the same. I just want to meet one person about my age that can help me. Someone who is or has gone through some of the same things as I am going throught. rachaelk2007@yaho

You need to turn to Jesus & pray to him to keep Satan out of your life.. Have you been a Christian long???? Cuz if you are pretty new at being a Christian.. Satan will do anything to knock you off of the straight & narrow path... Satan wants you to give up on Jesus & sin against him! Satan is a very sore looser!!!
Also the Lord will never give you more than you can handle.. & he won't let Satan tempt you more than you can take!
Did you ever read the story of Job? How satan was allowed to temp him & Satan wanted Job to give up on God & Satan was convinced he could win him away from the Lord.. Well the Lord knowing better, knew Satan couldn't steal Job away .. But allowed Satan to temp, torment, etc.. Job. Well.. When it was all said & done Job had nothing left, no family, no place to live, all of his riches were gone... BUT HE DID NOT give up on the Lord!
If anything.. you need to cling more to the Lord.. Seek his guidance, & pray whenever, where ever! Keep the Faith & hey ALL of us go through our trials & tribulations.. Make it positve & rely upon the Lord for your strength.
I'LL BE PRAYING FOR YOU!!!!!
God Bless You & hang in there.

Congrats on adulthood. Life is stressful but here's the inside info. I bet you were raised to believe that god does good and satan does evil. But here is the thing, Satan isn't real. Religion was made thousands of years ago to create some sort of order in the world when it first started to be populated with humans, and how would one make others follow their orders? Lets instill fear in them! Satan and hell are only a way to instill fear into you to "do the right thing". It works doesn't it? Take a look at yourself, cower in fear over something that you have no idea if it exists or not. Don't believe everything that you are told. Make decisions based on what YOU believe, break free from what is holding you back. In this case, it is your religion that is making you feel ashamed and guilty for something that really has no scientific proof that there is a Satan. Enjoy your life and don't live with fear in your heart. If your God is loving and forgiving, let him be that way.

Life is tough at 17 for everyone, it's a lot of stress and there are a lot of things to deal with, unfortunately it's our way of dealing with things at 17 ... we don't really know how to because we're still finding our way in the world. Try not to take life too seriously, carry on praying and doing what you think is right, fight what you think is wrong but only if you can make it better, there's a saying that goes like this:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things i can and
the wisdom to know the difference!!!

Try it and don't be so hard on yourself!!!

everything will work it self out trust in the lord.
remember god is over all and he will never give you more than yo can handle.
maybe you need to speak to your pastor about everything
get into your bible
and about the friend thing you have a friend god even if you can see him with your eyes you have him in your heart.
everyone goes Thur trials and tribulations but it will end up OK
stop worrying so much do want is right and all will fall in place.
trust in the lord let go let god.
and always remember some will hate because of his name but stand firm you will be the one on the streets of gold.

There's and old saying that goes, "If Satan isn't after you, he's got you right where he wants you." It means that just because we're Christians, Satan is going to quit coming after us. God's protection will make it harder for him to come after us if we live in obedience, but Satan will look for any weakness he can exploit and approach God with saying, "Well, look at this old so and so! I this was one of your good servants, God. What's up?" and etc... It's our responsibility to keep fighting and petitioning God in prayer for strength and understanding when Satan comes against us. Though I'm not your age, I've been where you are and still face struggle every day. It's tough, but we're not promised a rose garden either. We have to keep strong, "abstain from the very appearance of evil" and "bruise his (Satan's) head with our heel!

No darling you are not the only one that feels that way. I have been a Christian for 30 years and satan still tries to get me down at times. My husband is a pastor and satan still comes at him. Sometimes it looks like he(satan) is winning the battle, but just when we think we have lost, the hand of Jesus reaches down, and plants us safely on solid gound. So please don't give up, God has something in store for you and satan knows this. He also knows that if he fights you hard enough you might give-up on God and then he (satan) would have you right where he wants you. We will pray for you. Remember don't give up on God, He never gives up on us. I have taken down your e-mail and will be writting to you soon, hope this is okay

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Yes, its true. but you should not worry instead take your pains as an oppurtunity to strengthen your faith in God. All the troubles in our life are tests done by god in order to bring out the better of us. Remember GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME.Before a baby learns to walk he falls over and over again and in the end he learns to walk. But if it was the other way around he wont learn anything!! So Hold on. Everything will be fine in the end.
I am also going through hard times..

To me, there are things in life that we are tested over, that are our life's challenges that we are required to learn from, things that we must learn in order to become a better person, and until we do, those stresses and problems will continue to face us and be problems in our lives. I don't think Satan would do challenges designed to make us better people and then implement them into our lives.
