I agree.
Lawyers are a big part of our problems. Someone once said that if you could take all the lawyers in the world and lay then end to end around the equator-that we would all be better off.
I agree.

No I don't agree. Government worker are just that workers and deserve some level of security for the difference in pay they except compared to private sector jobs. You compare them to lawyers trying to twist a settlement from insurance because they have deep pockets.. Not at all the same.. Shame on you for thinking they are similar. Try to get by without police. Here in Utah our Highway Patrol offices qualify for food stamps. It's shameful.. Then you compare those people to the worst kind of evil in the world? What's wrong with you? Where did you get this strange ideas? you sound a bit like a nut case..Jim

Nah, I disagree.

Of course, there are indeed people in the Good Old US of A that have died to greed, I won't argue that. And with the size of the population, those numbers are relatively large.

But there are a very, very, very large number of spiritual people who seek to serve God in the world that are from the USA.

The mistakes that the USA has made in the past we now recognize as mistakes and teach our youth about them. For example, we all learn about how poorly the US Government treated Native Americans in the westard expansion. Discussions arise in schools all over the country.

Germany has also learned from the mistakes of Hitler and quickly teach their children of the mistakes of their history.

Osama Bin Laden? you teaching people not to fly airplanes into buildings anymore? Oh, you're teaching them to blow up airplanes in the sky.

It's not about religion. It's about power and control. Fortunately, there are other factors that tend to balance it out in the long run. We've gotten through previous periods of greed and corruption in the past. The current government will change eventually.

I could not support you more. According to my knowledge the Koran speaks about days of corruption, and people making money through prosecution etc. It says that these are signs of the LAst Day.
