Beware how you judge others, for that same measure would be used to judge you.
There are people who cannot help their weight due to reasons other than gluttony; the same way that there are gluttons who do not necessarily gain weight....

As gluttony is a sin, all people who are overweight due to gluttony (which does not include all overweight people) would go to hell (unless they repent).
The feeling I'm getting from the other answers, though, is a bit of a double standard. We can be lenient with eating too much, but other sins are judged black and white?
And it's not judging, guys, if it's simply what God says.

Gluttony is not the only reason for a person being over weight. But, those whose whole life centers around food do have a problem. Just remember, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Dear A baby ...,
Glutony is a sin just as drunkeness is a sin. Anything that breaks God's law is a sin! Therefore, we are all violators of God's commandments and deserving of damnation. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." "The soul that sinneth, it shall die." "The wages (payment) of sin is death." Because no man can redeem himself from eternal damnation, all of mankind is headed for the lake of fire. But God in His great mercy and lovingkindness determined to save some of us rebels out of the human population. The Lord Jesus Christ is no respector of person so that each person stands on the same level. The Lord is redeeming (saving) some of these individuals out of every nationality, language, and sex. That is wonderful news because God has said that He will save a great multitude that no man can number. So what each of us ought to do is read the Bible and pray, asking the Lord Jesus Christ for mercy. The Bible tells us, "So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." If the Lord is going to save you it will be in the environment of hearing the word of God-the Bible.

If sinning sent a person to hell, 100% of humanity would be going there, including YOU. What do you think Jesus died for? He carried the consequences of sin to the cross, where it was crucified for all mankind, so that whosoever believes that Jesus died for their sins shall be forgiven them.

It is only a sin to the body, not the soul.
Don't judge.
