I dont have DVDROM I tried form harddisk from others

DVD and VCD are two different formats.
cdrom drive laser will not able to read dvd format.
suggestions : you can borrow or buy dvdrom drive and copy data or movies, music in to your hard disk play with mediaplayer 10.0 or jukebox , realplayer etc.

do this by converting the dvd files to vcd format using a dvd to vcd converter
that is if the files are on your hdd

u can do this by converting the dvd content in to vcd format using a dvd to vcd converter. u will get a doenload of this software by searching it in google with the term" dvd to vcd convertion". try this. bye.

U can do that if u have DVD player and cdwriter and video capture card
play the dvd on the dvd player and record it to ur computer using the video capture card then burn it to cd

It's not possible to do this without a DVD COMBO Drive ,since the CDROM's laser cannot sense DVD.
