go to a decent hairdresser they will be able to strip it back to your original colour where possible

I think it would have made more sense to lighten it and then add black lighlights...lowlights...hmmmm o dear

they will have to strip out the colour, which will be hard if it's a permanent black dye, it probably won't lift in one session of lightening and will go red. If it does that you'll need it lightening twice and it's best to wait a while before you do it again for your hair's sake.

I would seriously consider legal action against your hairdresser, at the very least let them know that you are displeased enough to threaten it. They will be able to correct it, but probably have to damage your hair.

You might want to consider telling them to weave in some blonde extentions instead of chemically lightening your hair. These are very expensive but it's the least they can do after making such a ridiculous mistake.

also remember, it's not the end of the world it's only hair and it will grow and renew itself

good luck dear

once your hair is black you're pretty much stuck with it....it is possible to go from black to blonde, but it almost always leaves the hair in terrible condition....i would suggest you have your hairdresser put in some lighter highlights as opposed to going back to an all over blonde...it'll be much easier on your hair...i hope you let the hairdresser who did it know that it was not what you wanted and that you are unhappy-i feel that she should correct the mistake for no charge....good luck!

1.why didnt the hairdresser put blonde highlights in?
2.why didnt you tell hairdresser you wasnt satifield with how your hair looks?
3.stripping back to blonde will make your hair thinner and delicate and could make you have bald patches.(happened to friend of mine)
4. leave your hair for a while and see if you get used to it and then if you dont go back to hairdresser and get it redone to how you want it.

you will have to bleach it. don't use stronger than a 25 peroxide otherwise your hair will melt off. strongest hairdressers use are probably a 12. they used this on my hair three times in one go, my hair took it fine but it was just the fringe. go back a week later.. normally they won't charge you for this if you can't lighten it. try again and then dye it blonde. =]

Hi, this happend to me and the hairdresser put blonde highlights anyway and it went orange, but she wouldnt fix it. I would go back and demand them to sort it out but its if you would trust them to do your hair again. The only way they can do is its to strip the colour out and redye and bleach it over, but it could damage your hair

They will have to strip the colour and then put a colour on afterwards which is closest to your natural. The same happened to me and it took ages to get it back into good condition. Make sure that you use a really good conditioner for a long time and that should help alot to restoring it

Black with blond highlights, even lots of them is just not a good look.

My daughter did the same thing. The only way to get it blond again is to have it bleached (very hard on the hair) and re-dye it blonde.
