Martin Luther translated the Bible into German, the last version in 1545. However, unless you are a native speaker you may find the original very difficult as most of it is archaic. There were several modernized versions of the Luther Bible, the latest in 1984.
It is worthwhile to note that Luther worked not just from the Latin, but from original Hebrew and Greek texts. Luther strove for the most original meanings when translating the Hebrew. He used to say that the Jews drank from the original spring.
There is also a standardized Roman Catholic Bible in German, called the Einheitsübersetzung Bibel. Many Protestant scholars worked on this also.
