I mean, The US has said that about every country we've fought in the last 30 years...
it's the most convinent way to justify having carpet bombed a village and later finding nothing but women and children.
"Oh hey guys, look! Hezbollah hid all their women and children in this safe house during our invasion... wow, we just leveled the place... They must have been using them as human shields."

The only thing evident is your bias. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization hiding amongst civilians.
Question: where does Hezbollah base it's operations?
Answer: amongst civilians.
If you cannot see that well you are beyond hope.

Many groups in history have used human shields. Sure, it is dishonorable, but it will be done by somebody somewhere even if that is not the official policy of the leadership.
Conversely, deliberately targetting civilians is a common practice in modern warfare. When the Israelis are pounding away on some Hezbollah-controlled Lebanese suburb, how is this worse than a Hezbollah-inspired suicide bomber getting on an Israeli bus and blowing up civilians? Or different from Allied forces in WW2 fire bombing Dresden? None of these acts is particularly civilized.
There are no angels in the middle east, and I don't give any of them a free pass. Don't get sucked in by anyone's propoganda (and in war, EVERYTHING you hear or read should be assumed to be someone's propoganda).

If you don't believe the news. Go to Lebanon and ask the injured women and children. Hezbollah is a group of COWARDS. Never have i heard of brave men hiding behind women and children.

They do not use their own families as shields. They use people from families that are in opposition to Hezbollah-preferably Christians when they can find some.
Using human shields has been a trademark of Muslim extremist for many years.
Just because it is reported often does not mean it is not true.

It is funny that the video I saw of Hezbolla included children standing beside the weapons. Maybe Bush took the video?? This is just lies, all of the news was talking about how the Jews even phoned before they bombed the places. You are a Hezbolla supporter and like all of them want to change reality to be what you want..
Peaceful Muslim????

The rocket launchers in the residential areas and schools is proof enough for me that Hezbollah are cowards, showing their Allah to be a disgraceful demi-god of no honor or compassion. It is surely not the behavior of a Creator to have so little love for it's creation, so Allah is shown to be a counterfeit god based on the actions of its Hezbollah jackals.

How many villages did Israel carpet bomb in Lebanon? If they did, why were there not many more civillian deaths?
How many villages did the US carpet bomb in Iraq? If the U.S. Military was targeting civillians, there would be no Bagdad today.
You only see one side of the story.
Peace!

I agree with you, the excuse is becoming way too convenient, if the ratio of killed Hezbollah and Civilians were near 50:50 then you might begin to consider their reasoning but at the moment its nowhere near it!

That didn't look like World War II carpet bombing to me.
If that were the case there wouldn't be one city left in Lebanon. Stop lying about the scale of the war.

Bombs are indiscriminate.
The a-bombs we dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed civilians.
It's an unfortunate reality that civilians pay the heaviest price when nations go to war.
