Lucifer was able to do what he wanted and try and take more power than was given to him? If he had no free will then he shouldn't have been able to do this at all.

Angels can chose their path, just like humans can.

Who said angels don't have free will?

First of all, it is a lie that the foundamental difference between angels and human is freewill. Both has freewill, otherwise why are there demons which are the opposite of angels. Angels are heavenly beings that were created just like us and lucifer, only that they chose to be with God and do His will, unlike you and me and lucifer who always rebel againt the will of God. sometimes this forum is not enough to walk you through the explanation but I hope you find a good Christian to help you with more answer.

Thats a really intelligent question if one assumes that Angels don't have free will - but therein lies the problem. No place does it say angels have no free will.

People and Angels have one of two ultimate options - to serve God or not to serve God (God created all life - spirit and flesh) and with every choice one makes there is a price.

To not serve God strikes you out of the contract (of eternal life) and puts you in the zone for eternal damnation. We have to live with our decisions.

Does that seem harsh? Not really. Among men we have to decide whether we will obey the law of man or not obey. If we do not obey those laws there is a price to pay. No one makes someone to rob or beat up someone else or to murder and do other kinds of illegal acts - its free will as with all things.

Sickness is not a matter of free will or decision - but if I place myself in a position I know I risk getting a sickness, THEN it becomes a matter of choice.

Sinners are given options - to not sin or sin. If they sin, they reap the price of sin - death. This is not rocket science, although people will try to do so in an effort to find loop holes in the laws. God's laws has no loop holes.

Yes, angels have free will like us. When Satan chose to stop obeying and worshipping God, and vaunted his own pride, that was a free choice, with the consequences that followed. One third of the angels chose to follow him.
What sets apart angels from us is that we can be forgiven and restored, and they can't. To follow God or not was a one-shot deal for angels,

Lucifer is not the chief of angels
His real name is Azazeel ( if im not mistaken )
He is the chief of the jinns( being of fire )
He is the most pious being when human was not create yet
He become damned when he doesnt want to bow to Adam a.s.
Cos of his arrogant nature
Jinns is like human in having male/female/children and freewill

Angels is being of light
They hav no free will
they are sexless
they will never disobey God command, forever.

Maybe it's because everything has its imperfections. And perhaps the perfection that is wanted will not allow growth in many facets which does not justify the reason of us being here, which is to be tested of worthiness.

Lucifer did do what he wanted , he thought what he wanted, His attempt never took place, as soon as he thought it, it was over, He said in his heart.
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Lucifer was the chiefest of the angels. He was responsible for receiving praise and passing it on to the Father. Ergo, he was a special category of angel, the Archangel

Wrong. The only differance between Angels and men is thier spirituality. We are semi solid, and they are spirits. They can die just like we do.
