we are going to be gone 104 days so I will need that much medicine to take, and I am so reluctant to put necessary meds in checked luggage.

Last I had heard on Good Morning America, they were allowing medication as long as it matched your name, but basicaly only enough for your flight as needed. The rest would probably have to be stored in your luggage.

new rule says that if they are scrip that the name on the bottle must match your ID but I haven't heard about quantity limits

call ahead, and ask about policy, if you take your prescription bottle, there shouldn't be a problem, unless they're nitro glycerin pills lol
