Usually you have to get a secured credit card to rebuild your credit,
however orchard bank is usually pretty good at giving people who have filed a CC

Secured credit card is the best way to go.
Try a credit union rather than Orchard Bank. Orchard Bank is affiliated with HSBC, a major credit card player. Four of my credit cards were taken over by HSBC and I don't think Orchard Bank would give me a card given how HSBC shares information with affiliates and the like.

Wait for the offers they will come in by the ton...however watch what fees they charge! I've seen some that charge a $150 yearly fee on top of a $60 processing fee etc...and then give you a $200 or $300 limit. Orchard is part of Household Finance. They are ok. Some of the others are Bank of Marin, Aspire, Capital One, First Premier etc.....

why don't you go to the library instead and borrow Tightwad Gazette vol 1, 2 , and 3 . follow it and see how much better off you can be in 1 2 and 3 years from now. You will be amazed.

I would start with one from your bank or Chase.
Good luck.
