First go to the beaches in San Diego. Then go to to LA for Magic Mt., Universal Studio, Mann's Chinese Theater and all that other Hollywood stuff. Then go to Wine Country in the far northern part of the State. Take some wine tours, eat some good food, and relax. Spend the rest of your time in San Francisco. Go to the Wharf, Chinatown, etc., just hang out in the City(SF) the rest of the time, see some bands, go to great bars, (there's too many to even mention , so u should get a cab driver who knows what's up. Most of them Know the City really well). Anyway, I love SF even though I grew up on the East Coast, it's definitely my fave city along w/ NYC.
CA is like 10 states in one, there's many other places that I should have mentioned, but there's just too many of them.
