Jesus fulfilled all of more than 400 prophecies. As to a bunch of people getting followers, in Acts one of the Jewish leaders stands up and says that these other false messiahs gained a following and once the leader died, the followers fell away. The same man said that if this was from God, it would not be able to be overcome - and here we are 2000 years later! The difference between Christianity and every other religion is this: our leader, Jesus, rose from the dead (and was seen by 500 people at one time, many of whom were still alive as witnesses when the New Testament was written). I have a relationship with a living Savior. Another difference is that Christians know we cannot earn our salvation. We don't have to try to work our way to heaven, hope the good deeds outway the bad. It wouldn't matter if they did. One lie makes you a liar and all liars are cast into the lake of fire (Rev.20).
Jesus was a surprising Messiah - He was not a political figure as the Jews of that time expected. He came to be a sacrifice. When He returns He will rule for a Millennium, then there will be a final battle, then eternity.

It's not about proving, since you cannot prove 100% either way that Jesus is or is not the Messiah. But using your reasoning, you can reason this - hundreds of prophecies by different prophets at different times fulfilled, the tomb was indeed empty and no body ever produced, over 500 witnesses to the resurrected man, all the other so-called messiahs were indeed proven false by their misleading teachings, actions or by their deaths. Reasoning in finding answers in the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament accounts that allow you to make a choice to follow them because you Love, aligning with and even surpassing many of the truths which it took other men, who died, years of meditation and poverty to discover....

Don't worry little brother, we Christians are in good hands...
Jesus taught us about the other guys running around and doing things like casting out devils, curing illness etc., in the name of God. And He said that they too, are indeed the servants of God, for Evil cannot cast out Evil - that a House divided can only Fall.
You have every personal right to be sceptical and we, Believers neither need to convince you on our Faith nor need to defy your challenge whether we've picked the right Messiah.
Take the Hebrews, God's Chosen People, who (I say respectfully,) are still awaiting the arrival of their foretold Messiah. If they, who lived during the life and death of Christ Jesus, could not accept that a carpenter's son, without an illustrious upbringing and high office in life, could be the Messiah, how could we Christians, be audacious enough to convince people like you otherwise, more than 2 thousand years later?
If you have a small seed of faith and would like to know more, many of us will be happy to assist you. But it would be hard for you to dislodge even the smallest mustard seed sized bit of faith among the Believers, not to mention those whose seed of faith have grown into trees.
For your information, even the Muslims believe that Jesus was the Messiah. They, however believe that their Prophet, Mohammad is the Pure One who has arrived, as foretold in the Bible as the Second Coming of the Christ.
So the Hebrew's Messiah has arrived as the Christian's Messiah, while the Christian's and Hebrew's Second Coming has arrived as the Muslim's Prophet.
If you choose to have your life's path and beliefs to be easily swayed by videos, movies and hearsay, and maybe in the future, by green-skinned, two-headed aliens, that would be, respectfully, your deemed choice.
Chill out mate, worry about your own faith, we are fine with ours.

For me its irrelivent if ive picked the righ "Messiah". I look at as am i a better or worse person because of it?? Besides it really doesnt matter to me what mricles Jesus performed, its the example that he set that i follow, and thats good enough for me. In these hard times we need a good example to follow, who better than Jesus?

Because the Bible, if read, will show that Jesus is the Son of God and was here since the foundation of the earth.

What do you mean "the right Messiah?" Jesus is the ONLY Messiah sent by God.

This is a good question.
Is the Jesus of the Gospels even the Jesus of Paul?
You have to study and learn to determine the answers to this.
