If you are in pain besides swollen feet ao sore back I would quit. You can always make some extra cash from home. you could baby sit some kids (just 1 lid at $20 a day you can make $100 a week under the table.) I found this to be easiest. Sit for kids that are older and need less hands on like 4 years old they still need a nap so you can take one when they do. Your baby is only small once cherish it you can't get it back I know money can be tight. Also you can try your hand at selling something on ebay you can make some cash that way if you specialize in something

I worked until 10 days before I had my son. It's all based on how you actually feel, though. The doctor did make me go on 5 hour restriction in the last trimester, though, because I worked as a cocktail waitress in a casino and was on my feet all day. Depending on what you do, you may have no problem working right up until you have the baby. I would suggest talking to your doctor, though. He knows your case the best and would be able to make the best recommendation for you.

1. if you are always in pain.. you should see your doctor.. it's not normal...
2. if your fiance says you can quit work.. stay home and rest... if you have that option... if not.. I'd stay stop working 1 month before your due date... it's very hard those 4 last weeks...

You should work as long as you feel comfortable continuing to do so and your doctor says it's okay. It really depends on what your job is. My friend is a CNA who was on her feet all day had to stop working around 6 months because the baby caused a pinched nerve. She was unable to stand longer than 10 minutes.

It depends. Do you have medical coverage to pay for the birth? Since you are not married you will not be covered by his. This is something that you also need to discuss with your OB/GYN. If your job is stressful and you are on your feet all day it can actually cause early labor...it happened to me at 29 weeks and I almost lost my son, but now he is a healthy strong, smart 2 year-old.

Up to you but I would stay home if it were me. I remember getting worn out the last couple months. Finally at that point I got out of the Army and it was great taking naps. He sounds like he loves you. Get some rest.

I worked until the week of my babies birth. I worked on Wedneday and had her Friday night. I sat in a chair at work so it was not a big deal. I was very uncomfortable the last 2 weeks.
But, I had to work! So, If did not have to I wouldn't.

I worked up until my 39 week when I just coulldn't take it anymore. If you are feeling pain and just can't handle it anymore, then quit. You don't want to put undue stress on your body and your baby if you can help it. Good luck.

don't stress yourself if you are in pain then i would recommend for you to quit your job and concentrate on your health and baby. Don't worry about money there are lots of places where they provide help have you already applied for W.I.C? and food stamps that really helped me out when i was pregnant. i would say to quit and dedicate yourself to the health of you and the baby and remember do not stress your self and enjoy every moment of your pregnancy because you will soon be in here helping others by answearing their question.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

Work up until you feel the need to stay at home. You know your body.
