Hi Mother,
If you are trusting in God, you are on the right path. Sometimes, when we look at the simple, and ordinary lives we live, it is tempting to think we should be doing more. When we look at the lives of Jesus, and the Apostles, we seem pretty pathetic. What they did in their lives, was the Path that God chose for them. It is not our Path. We have plenty of opportunities in our lives, to grow into God's Spirit, and let His Light shine through us. If you are truly surrendered to Him, and His Spirit dwells in your heart, you will bear good fruit, no matter what you do. We will not know during this lifetime, how many people we have led to God, just by the way we conduct ourselves in the daily routine of our lives. Relax, and enjoy what has been placed in your hands. It is enough.

I think only you can know what's the "right path" for you. Have you done any research into different religions & spiritual paths?? Here's something you can do that is VERY accurate and fun at the same time. Go to www.beliefnet.com and look for the "quizzes" section. You can take a test to find out what religion you most identify with as well as a quiz to find out your spiritual type and many others. Once you get your results they then give you info and links to go to so you can find out more. Hope that helps!!

How can you be on the wrong path? Your life is your life. By definition, you are on your path.
Like Shakespeare said...
Cassius: Tell me, good Brutus, can you see your face?
Brutus: No, Cassius; for the eye sees not itself, but by reflection, by some other things.
Often, we can't see ourselves clearly and require of others the external eye to point us in the right direction.
Try this book: http://www.ebooks.com/ebooks/book_display.asp?IID=244664
Cup And Bucket, A Workbook for Life.
There's a section on Tarot, but there's also there's an outline of a spiritual path to enlightenment.

In my cosmological/spiritual view, we are spirits in flesh, by our choice and with a plan.
The paradox is, we are not privy to that plan while we are incarnated.
Nevertheless, the general direction of our life is guided by that plan.
We make mistakes, missteps, have problems, and we either learn from them or are doomed to repeat our errors.
It is no easy thing, but if we really look at our life and listen to the "still small voice" inside us, it will tell us whether we are "off the path" or not.
Life is long enough to absorb some straying from the path.
Learn from your mistakes, and grow.

Questions like these will help: am i comfortable with what am doing today? & are u happy with ur life today. If Yes, i think u are doing well in life. If not, keep searching because the search 4 happiness is a search for God. Good luck.

Well, the hard-core Christians will tell you to just trust in Him and He will lead you. But ultimately, it is up to you. You make your own decisions and you make your own destiny. If you feel that you are on the wrong path, find a new one. Strictly your call.
