For one thing, I would rarely if ever go into someone's home intending to do them harm. That's rude. If I was going to do them any harm I'd do it outside of their own home (but I don't plan on really hurting anyone so this is a moot point and a rather good hypothetical question). Theoretically I would be very confused as how did they know my intentions to begin with.

Dont understand the question, If I set into someone home I would have no intentions of doing them harm even if they were a monster. (Depending on what you define as a monster)

It would be a bit confusing. I would be even more confused about why I was hugging them if I was there to hurt them. Did I just figure I would hug them first?

i cant answer that one as i keep seeing myself being the hugger and not the huggee lol
but i have done this one though , treated those who have wished to do me harm with kindness , gave them a hug or spoke gently with them .. works every time!
