If a tree falls in a forest and theres no one there for miles and miles, does it make a sound?

there is no answer

it just means that there are certain things you cannot conclude unless you do some observation with the gift of sound and sight

if a tree falls in the forest it doesnt make a sound because no one really knows if it makes a sound

I think you should experiment! Make sure there's nobody in the forest for miles then put a hidden camera & mic somewhere nearby, then wait for the tree to fall. Then later you can watch the video

Yes, obvious so.
Naturally, I have a witness statements from a family of squirrel (evicted as a result of the incident), a very angry woodpecker and a mature oak tree that is too traumised to be of much help and is still taking counseling.

Ancient Oak: By the first acorn, me roots are killing me!

Is there some reason it wouldn't? Does sound only occur when someone is there to hear it? On the surface this is a stupid question. I understand the deep meaning and I still think this is stupid.
