I jumped from a car when I was about 14, and trust me, hitting a non-moving concrete road when my body was in motion threw me every which way. The basic physics of motion. It's like hitting a wall.

He probably started to jump but hit the ground and fell backward.

are you sure he didnt fall out it sounds a bit strange he would have abrasions i was with some one who fell out of a car he had abrasions on his hip and knee but that was all lucky he didnt die.he may have been leaning on the door and fell out backwards sorry wish i could help more
