Well... it's probably more like the tens of millions.

Remember we had two world wars in the 20th century - and the Germans and their allies were predominantly Christian - so the massive losses taken in Europe would have been mainly Christians killing other Christians.

I think the main reason is that they beleive loyalty to the land of their birth is more important than their devotion to their faith.

you realize of course not everybody in the military is religious right. And not only that, but they aren't all Christian. The military takes all religions.
I'm willing to bet if you are so un intelligent to ask this question in an attempt to piss people off, then you are probably only familiar with the old testament. So how about this....
Eye for an Eye, would you rather the govt. just let others run us over? Our military doesn't go around just killing people for the hell of it, no matter what you are trying to get at. Even God had an army!
We have got to have a military of some sort in order to keep the world safe. So why not make that military up of good men and women, christian or not who are willing to ensure that safety.

Reckon it to be millions are you're far closer to the truth. What the bible teaches in the new testament, and how people have turned that into a way of life, are two different things. I'm an atheist and even I can see that, stripped of its religious message, most of the book is still a good text on general morality, if understood in the context of the day and age it was written (ie: I can see why those societies viewed homosexuality as a grevious error whereas in modern society is simply isn't.)

that's between the Christian and Jesus Christ. If Jesus could question me to connect the protection rigidity, then i could. Jesus hasn't, yet i'm helpful Jesus has asked some to. because of the fact of this some connect the protection rigidity even. in line with possibility that soldier is the only individual who could be conscious of the place the enemy replaced into hiding and not walk right into a capture because of the fact he/she had the present of prophecy. in line with possibility that soldier may be the single that would end the conflict because of the fact they got here upon each and every of the terrorist & imprissoned them. All issues artwork for the solid for those that have confidence contained in the Lord.

we fight to protect. if we have no guard, won't we all be vonerable? battles are biblical, if the cause is biblical. lately we've given another nation their independence. people there can now think for themselves and not be slaughtered for believing in something, whether it be a cause or a faith. if you just look at it as a killing, you're missing the point. every christian (if not they should) morn the loss of their brothers and sisters. but think, if they kill you, there's not much you can do to help people now is there? if you're looking for a number it's 100 to even lower. i've been hearing about iraqi muslims and terrorist about the world. i'd like to know where you thought of this. not all people who claim to be christians are. they prove it by applying their faith. he who doesn't, isn't.

Why was there war in heaven where satan and a third of the angels were thrown to earth?

Why were the Israelites enslaved by Egyptians for 400 years?

Why was God with Israel as they battled rival peoples on their journey to the promised land?

Why do you think it's wrong to be a christian and join the military?

Where is your justification that it's wrong? (And it's do not murder, not do not kill in the 10 Commandments).

Millions not just hundreds of thousands.

In WW2 alone, millions of catholics and protestants killed each other.

No brotherly love there.

Joh 13:35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

They don't live to uphold Isaiah's word either.

Isa 2:4 He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

Why is Christianity being pinned on this? are we going to talk about Musmlims? Hindus? Wiccans? Atheists? no religion is perfect, because no human is perfect, so why pick at the little things? We are Human. We have fought in wars and killed since litterelly the beginning of time. It's as natural for us to make war is it is for us the make music. Don't ry to pin a human aspect on religion that is not centered on a human.

True Christians don't fight wars but the devil uses the "Church" (which is defined as a plave where a group of people come together for worship) to try and discredit God and because many so called christians don't accurately know the Word of God, they couldn't notice the schemes of the evil one and God gets the blame.

It is right to serve in the armed forces of your nation. I served twenty years in the Army as a Christian, and never killed a soul.
