If so, how do you justify this belief?Just curious.

Psalm 78:39 (NIV) "He remembered that they were but flesh,
a passing breeze that does not return."

I do NOT believe in reincarnation. I believe as many of you do, that it is not compatible with Christianity. I am just curious as to what people believe.

I know one person who believes reincarnation is possible and is a professed Christian. I just wanted to see if anyone elese believes this. If you'll note by the scripture I've quoted here that I believe it's not possible and is a false theory.

There are many religious people in this world, But Ephesins 4:5 says there is one Truth, not 2 or 3, but ONE. So out of all the different religions, they will believe anything, But a True Born Again Christian does NOT believe in reincarnation, we believe in a Ressurrection, I am 56 yrs. Old, & have been a Born again Christian for 36 yrs. I got my training down on my kness praying & not in a school.

Mywife,

There are many passages in scripture, that raise the question. If there is no reincarnation, how is it that Elijah, was to come again? Also, if there is no such thing, how is it that we are to experience the Resurrection? I am not speaking about the Eastern tradition of reincarnation, where you might come back as a turtle, or other animal. The fact is, that God owns all life. He can do anything with it He wants to. If He chooses to bring back one of His potential children, whose life was cut short, for the purpose of making a choice to return to God, who are we to question Him? With God, all things are possible. If you intend to live beyond this life, you had better believe in at least one form of reincarnation. The passage that you are referring to, is speaking about the FLESH. It, indeed does not return, and never shall. If we only have one life, and then cease to exist, what is the point of the whole Jesus thing? Why, should we bother to live a life of righteous obedience to the Will of God, if we only go around once? Please remember, that the Bible, is not a literal and direct copy of everything that God has to say to us. There is strong evidence that it has been tampered with, despite the warning in Revelation. Look up the Council of Nicea, in 325 A.D. for more on that. You must learn to seperate the wheat from the chaff, when studying scripture.

No. interior the Christian faith it incredibly is all or no longer something. Reincarnation isn't part of their teachings in any respect and is unaccepted. that's why I left the Christian Church, by way of fact i've got self assurance in reincaration and that they mentioned I couldnt have self assurance that. How can somebody make you think of a few thing different than what you sense is fact?

I now believe in god and i think those who believe in reincarnation are the people that know they have screwed up in this life.

I'm a Christian...Scripture says, "For it is appointed for man once to die" (Heb 9:27).

Reincarnation is a central teaching of Hinduism and other eastern faiths. For me, I'm glad that I only have to live on this earth for one lifetime, 'cause I would not want to come back again...ever. I live for the day that I see the face of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and ask Him questions and talk to Him face to face.

I don't believe in reincarnation. I don't think Scripture supports it either.

You could not believe in both and adhere to the Bible. So, either you are not a Christian or you are very confused.

Hello reincarnation.. :)

No..I do not..because even though we will be given glorious new bodies..they will be celestial and not terrestrial..

And the definition of reincarnation is: literally "to be made flesh again"..

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

I can't think of a way to justify "reincarnation" with "resurrection" which the Bible promisses.
