how come the swiss make "swiss army knives" but dont actually have an army? i know its stupid enjoy your points

the Swiss had always had reputation as very good fighters and there army's where gladly drafted by other country's ( the Swiss Gard that guards the pop in Rome is a remnant of it). Now days the Swiss army is one with a very up to date equipment and a invader who'd get a very hard time to invade Switzerland
